Do I have to have my car fixed at the shop referred by my insurance?
No. You have the right to choose the licensed repair shop where the damage to your motor vehicle will be repaired. (As per CT Bill H-5152)

What if the repairs to my vehicle are more than what my insurance has estimated?
If there are any additional costs to the repair of your vehicle, we contact the insurance company for a supplement to resolve the issue.

How can I get a rental?
We can help you to make the necessary arrangments with a local rental office. Insurance companies will only pay for a rental if you have that option on your policy. Check your policy and/or call your insurance to find out         if you have rental coverage and what your specific limitations are.

How long will the repairs to my vehicle take?
Vehicle repair time is determined by the complexity of the damages. Each repair and situation is different. After an initial damage assessment, we will be able to provide you with an estimated completion date.

Do I have to pay a deductible?
Yes. You are responsible for paying the deductible when the repairs are complete. The amount of the deductible that you will be responsible for is determined by your insurance.

Who do I pay my deductable to?
You pay your deductable to the body shop. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, Amex, and cash. We als accept personal checks only when accompanied by a drivers license.

How many estimates do I need?
According to State Regulation, you are required to get just one appraisal of damage. The insurance company has their own appraisers to verify and review any estimate you recieve.

What are "betterment charges"?
With time and use vehicles parts wear out and need replacement. Tires, batteries, and suspension parts are commonly subject to betterment charges when they are replaced during the repair process. These betterment charges are determined by the insurance company and are prorated based on the year, condition, and mileage of your vehicle. The owner of the vehicle is responsible to pay these charges when picking up the vehicle.
